Marketing Manager

Purpose: Develop marketing strategies that understand our customers and builds awareness about how our products and services can satisfy their needs, while inspiring your team to execute their deliverables to drive our brand identity forward.

The Marketing Manager is the mastermind behind our outward reputation and is responsible to deliver inspiring strategies and content for all events and contact platforms used to promote our brand. How exciting is that?!

You will plan publicity campaigns and oversee the creation of promotional materials, plan marketing budgets, and coordinate the different stages of a marketing strategy. As a marketing leader, you have to be a people person, as your work entails cultivating and sustaining relationships with incredible organizations, including and especially Communo! You must know how to energize, inspire, and connect with your audiences - we’re on a mission to eradicate loneliness after all and we can’t do that without meaningful connections with our community.  This is where you play a key role for our business.

 

Types of challenges will you work on:

  • Develop strategies and tactics to boost the company’s reputation and drive qualified traffic to our sales teams
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution that motivate companies and individuals to join our community
  • Utilize and understand various marketing methodologies including, but not limited to: Email Marketing, Blog, Social, Paid Search/SEO, Events Speaker/Sponsor, Referral Campaigns, Press Release, News, Content Marketing, Forums and Group, Influencer Marketing, Podcast, and Non Traditional Platform Ads
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups  
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns 

The skills you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
  • Proven experience designing interactive applications and networking platforms
  • Established press and media contacts
